Copyright & DMCA Policy

SilkRoom LLC ("we") respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users of SilkRoom (the "Service") to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar laws.
Reporting alleged infringement
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (such as a URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) you may be liable for damages if you knowingly materially misrepresent that material is infringing.

Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the agent above that includes: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your contact information; and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where we may be found) and to accept service of process from the complaining party.
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
